OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in a live video stream that ChatGPT-5 can be considered a very big upgrade compared to GPT-4 chatbot. He said, “With GPT-5, it will now feel like you are talking to a subject expert – that too on demand, whenever you want.”
According to Sam Altman, GPT-5 is now capable of giving Medium leval to PhD level advice on any subject or questions, whether it is related to law, education or technology.
Available for free and paid users
GPT-5 has been released by OpenAI for all ChatGPT users – whether you are using the free version or the paid one. Yes, paid users can get some extra features, but everyone can use the basics of GPT-5.
The company says that this new model is not only faster in giving answers, but is also more accurate and useful. It has surpassed all previous models, especially in coding related tasks. GPT-5 has set new records in tests like SWE-Bench, which is a big indication of its ability.
Change in personality is also possible
Another feature of GPT-5 is that now you can mold its answering style according to your choice. If you want ChatGPT to be a little formal, or adopt a light-hearted humor, then this is now possible.
